What is the Active Citizen Exam?

In order to obtain a permanent residence permit in Denmark, you must pass a number of conditions. In addition, you must fulfill 2 out of 4 additional conditions. One of these additional conditions can be met if you pass the Active Citizen Exam. The exam tests your knowledge of the Danish democracy, everyday life in Denmark and Danish culture and history.
